the.gym is a fitness center located in Middletown, DE. After going through several design ideas with the owner, a Flash-based site turned out to be the best route to accomplish his goals. In the Fall of 2000, WSTW held an impressive contest based on the sudden reality TV craze, called "WSTW's Chosen One". It was an unusually large contest, so the website component needed to be just as bigger-than-life. Utilizing animation and sound, these Flash applets drive the contest home to the listeners:

• Preview - Introducing the contest to listeners
• Recruitment - Call for entries. All questions at the end of the movie show more animations.
• The Game - How the contest works. While most links were to static HTML pages not included here, follow the "Learn About the Prizes" link for another animation.
